     SUMMER VACATION HOLIDAY HOMEWORK (2024-25)

                                  CLASS - 2


English


1.Draw your favourite means of transport and write  five sentences on it on A4 size sheet .

2. Do five pages handwriting in notebook. 

3. Draw your favourite game on a sheet and write five sentences about it.

4. Read one paragraph from English newspaper daily and find atleast 3 new words from it. Write their meaning in your notebook  with date.

5. Draw a picture where you have visited during your summer vacation and write at least five sentences about it on A4 sheet.


हिंदी 

  1. अपने  दादा  दादी  या  नाना  नानी का चित्र  चिपकाएं तथा  उनके  बारे में पांच वाक्य लिखिए। वाक्य में आए संज्ञा शब्दों पर गोला लगाइएl (नाम वाले शब्द)

  2. आ,इ,ई,उ,ऊ,ए,ऐ,ओ,औ,अं की मात्राओं के 5-5 शब्द लिखिए।

  3. गर्मी के मौसम में खाए जाने वाले किन्हीं पांच फलों के चित्र चिपकाओ और उनके बारे में तीन-तीन वाक्य लिखो।

  4. कोई एक कहानी की किताब पढ़िए और उसके पात्रों के नाम लिखिए।

5. कोई एक कविता याद करो।

6. किन्हीं दो कार्टून कैरेक्टर का चित्र चिपकाओ और आपने उनसे क्या सीखा ।

   7. अपनी माँ का चित्र चिपकाओ और उनके बारे में कुछ वाक्य लिखिए। (A-4 sheet pr)

   8.  प्रतिदिन हिंदी की किताब का एक पेज पढ़ें।

MATHS

Make a separate note book for Holiday homework.

1. Write 5 times and learn tables 2 to 10. 

2. Do 5 questions of ascending and descending order of 2-digit no.

3. Make 2 different patterns using leaves. Paint one side of leaf and print it on A4 size sheet.

4. Write and learn number names 1 to 100.

5. Make a wall hanging using cut outs of different shapes with the help of your elders.

6. Make any game of numbers.

7. Make a Place Value working model.


EVS


  1. Paste pictures of different types of

transport.(Land, Water, Air) in class notebook 

2. Make a model of any animal by clay.

3. Paste pictures of sources of water.(class notebook )

4. Make a puppet by old socks (Family member)

5. Learn five sentences about your mother, father, grandmother and grandfather.

8. Make a video of sounds of animals by your voice.

9. Plant any seed .(Project Work)


CLASS - 3 
MATHS
Q 1. Learn and write table up to 15.
Q 2. Write numbers name in words.( From 1 to 200).
Q 3. Make a rangoli by using dots.
Q 4. Using 10 by 10 grid write skip counting by 2's ,3's, 4's and colour the number.
Q 5. List any five food items and write down its quantity . You can also paste its wrapper. ( eg .
Weight 5gram, 10 gram, 50 gram etc.)
Q 6. Paste any 5 bills of food items you get from the shop . Marks it's price and write the price in words.

 EVS 
1) Collect different types of leaves and make pictures of animals using those leaves. 
2) Make at least two pictures by thumb print using different colours. For example, picture of Hut, An Earthen pot, A Parrot. 
3)Make a model of any type of house using materials available at your home. 
4)Draw a labelled diagram of water cycle and learn every steps of water cycle. 
5) Write any 10 good habits about yourself.
6) Revise all the work done.

हिन्दी
पढ़े और याद करें : -

1.प्रतिदिन समाचार पत्र पढ़े ।   
2.किताब से अलग कोई दो कहानी और दो कविताएँ पढ़े और याद करें ।
3. हिन्दी में 100 तक गिनती याद करें।
लेखन कार्य : -
4 अक्षरों की सही बनावट को ध्यान में रखते हुए दस पेज सुलेख लिखें ।
5. 1 से 50 तक हिंदी में गिनती लिखें ।
6. पाँच अच्छी आदते लिखें ।
सृजनात्मक कार्यः -
7. छुट्टियों में आप कहाँ- कहाँ घूमने गए वहाँ का चित्र बनाइए और कुछ वाक्य लिखिए।
8.. शेर, बिल्ली और कंगारू का मुखौटा बनाओं ।
9. रंगीन कागज से चिड़िया बनाइए ।
नोट- - लिखने वाला कार्य एक अलग कॉपी में करें।


ENGLISH 
NOTE :Do the work on A-4 size sheets only. 

1. Read any story and write about these three basic story elements
(character, setting and plot) of the story. (On a sheet)
2. Character sketch-read a book and write the following on an A4 size sheet: 
3. Pick up two characters from the book.
4. Based on your reading, write five sentences each that describe the 
above selected two characters (what they look like, what do they wear, what does the character do in the story, what is the character’s gender, etc.). 
5. Compare and write down how these two characters are different fromeach other. What are the qualities that set them apart ?


CLASS - 4

MATHS 
Q 1. Make a brick with the help of mud or clay.

Q 2. Make 2 models of any 3 D shapes from waste material.

Q 3.Learn and write Tables from 2 to 20.

Q 4. Measure the dimensions of the following things at your home.

Two windows ( b ) Two doors
     (c ) Two cupboard (d) Two room floor

Q 5. Measure the height ( in centimetre)of your family members and make a table.

Q 6. Write number names from 1000 ( One thousand) to 1200 ( one thousand two hundred) .

NOTE : Make a separate notebook for Question number 3 to Question number 6.

English 

1. Read the English newspaper daily. Cut and paste the news related to education in notebook 
2. Write a small paragraph how you spent your summer holidays. Also paste pictures.
3. Draw or paste pictures related to any five Sports and write few lines about it. 

4 Make new words using the letters of the given words.

5. Make a model of tree using waste materials (best out of waste) 
6. On A4 sheet draw the cover page of your English book you would like to have also give name to your book.

1. Revise chapter 1to 3.
2. Use waste material to make a bridge. (best out of waste) 
3. Learn capitals of 29 states.
4. Make an elephant and a bird using paper folding.
5. Observe vehicles around you and write the following details.
i) Vehicles run on petrol or diesel.
      ii) Vehicles run with the help of animals.

7. Make riddles on animals.
8. Imagine a day on which our Principal ma’am was very upset with your class for making noises and creating indiscipline in your classroom. You felt very bad for that. Now you plan a set of rules for making your class disciplined.

Class- 5
ENGLISH 
1. Make a pocket dictionary and write at least one new word everyday and their meaning in it . (At least 20 words must be there in the pocket dictionary)
2. Learn or memorize any one poem with action it may be from the English textbook or outside the textbook.
3. Write and learn any one application, To the Principal about sick leave or urgent piece of work.
4. Write five sentences describing (at least five) on any one of your favourite topics such as car/ Cartoon /animal/ game/ dance etc and draw it's picture.
5. Read the newspaper headlines daily.
6. Practice reading one page daily from your textbook in front of your parents.
7. Write 10 pages of handwriting during summer vacation.
हिन्दी
1 .किन्हीं पांच क्रिया शब्दों के फ्लैश कार्ड बनाओ।
2. प्रतिदिन समाचार–पत्र से दो कठिन शब्द छांटकर उन्हें अर्थ सहित कॉपी में लिखो।
3 गर्मी की छुट्टियों में आप जहां घूमने गए उसके बारे में एक अनुच्छेद लिखो।
4. किन्हीं पांच राज्यों के फसलों के त्योहारों के नाम पता करो व उन्हें कैसे मनाया जाता है, करो एकत्र जानकारी I
5. पुरानी बेकार वस्तुओं का प्रयोग करके एक खिलौना बनाओ।
6. प्रथम आवधिक परीक्षा के लिए कक्षा में कराया गया सारा कार्य याद करें।

Eco-Friendly Project: 
Challenge number-1
As EVS teacher I am giving you a challenge to come up with eco-friendly projects they can implement at home or in your community. This could include
-Starting a compost bin, 
-setting up a rainwater harvesting system,
- creating a mini wildlife habitat in their backyard,
 -or organizing a neighborhood clean-up event.
NOTE – select only one form above.
Sustainable Living Challenge: 
Challenge number-2
-to adopt sustainable living practices at home for the duration of the holidays. This could include reducing water and energy consumption, minimizing waste by recycling and composting, using eco-friendly products, and choosing sustainable transportation options. Students can keep track of their progress and share their experiences with their classmates.

Eco-Friendly Recipe Book: 
Students are advised to research and collect recipes for healthy and sustainable meals that have minimal impact on the environment. They can include recipes made from locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, plant-based dishes, and tips for reducing food waste. This project promotes awareness of the connection between food choices and environmental sustainability.
Bird Watching and Identification: 
Parents are advised to encourage students to become amateur ornithologists by observing and identifying birds in their surroundings. They can learn to recognize different bird species, their habitats, and behaviors, and keep a bird-watching journal with sketches and descriptions of the birds they encounter.
Interview the eminent personality of your area:
Interview the eminent personality of your and design a questionnaire and write down their replies.
Topic: "Our planet is sending us distress signals, and it's time we listen."
Example -You can ask these type of questions to them. What are measure we are taking as community as a whole and what is your role as head/responsible citizen of our society?
